3 Ideas for Value Added Revenue in Printing

Printing is a competitive business, but you can win that competition with these three revenue enhancers to propel growth as a print reseller. It takes a combination of actions, starting with a consistent plan to upsell, cross-sell, and package for success. Use these tactics as your personal quick-start guide.

1. Upsell to Better Stocks and Finishes

Help your customers position their products and services with a look and feel that reflects their core values. That repositioning can take a variety of forms that add value to the print job so be prepared to offer options. The easiest is a change in paper, so take the time to learn what is in the 4over catalog. You might be surprised at the options!

Encourage your customers to add some gravitas to postcards with heavier paper and textures, but don’t forget that you can also suggest ultra-thick gloss, matte or even metallic pearlescent. If they usually opt for the standard size postcard, suggest larger options.
