Press Release- 4over to Sunset Project RedTag

Glendale, Ca. — In 2010, 4over launched RedTagPrints.com, designed as a way to capture leads and distribute business to its existing customers. The intention behind the project was straightforward and positive – capture opportunistic online buyers, share their leads, and payout any profit over wholesale cost with our customers.

Unfortunately, 4over’s business model for RedTag was occasionally misinterpreted and the project came under scrutiny, thus impacting the early adoption of the site. Responding to misinformation from competitors, some customers thought 4over was trying to go directly to the end user when, in fact, the aim was to counter the growth of online printers who were hurting 4over’s customers. Other customers embraced the model and were rewarded financially for their efforts, gaining new customers that they service today.

Following a relatively successful five years in business, 4over has decided to sunset the RedTagPrints.com website. This calculated decision is based on the weight of resource investment required to upgrade the site to a new code base – as introduced with the new 4over.com – measured against the return on investment.

By way of this communication, 4over announces it is accepting bids from its trade members for the URL RedTagPrintSale.com. The deadline to bid is April 10th, 2015 and bids can be placed by emailing Redtagmarketing@redtagprintsale.com

4over Recognized by Miami’s Beacon Council as North America’s Largest Trade Printer!

keyWe’re delighted to announce that on December 11, 2013, 4over was recognized by Miami-Dade county Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez and Commissioners, along with elected city officials and the Beacon Council of Miami-Dade, as North America’s Largest Trade Printer. The ceremony, known as Beacon Council’s Annual Key Ceremony, was held this year at the Vizcaya Museum  & Gardens where we were presented with the “KEY” to the city by Mayor Jimenez. Our very own Gonzalo Julian and Patrick Aristakian were at the ceremony to accept the “KEY” on key 2behalf of 4over and they were in very good company. Boeing Flight Services, Wal-Mart Stores East, IKEA, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Brink’s Regional Services, Trade Commission of Peru and many more were all honored at the event. Many thanks to Beacon Council for the recognition.

4over Hires Preston Herrin as VP of Sales and Marketing

4over is thrilled to welcome new VP of Sales and Marketing, Preston A. Herrin, to the team!  The company is undergoing some exciting changes, and as an accomplished executive with a proven talent for building high performance teams, Preston has been brought in to spearhead the process.

From very early on in his career, Preston has been acknowledged as a highly effective strategic leader.  After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Bob Jones University, Preston went on to spend more than 20 years with Standard Register Company.  While there, he was recognized as one of the youngest multi-million dollar producers in the company at age 25 and was also awarded 2000 Manager of the Year across the entire Strategic Accounts organization.

As VP of Business Development at CafePress more recently, Preston was selected by the executive team to lead sales consolidation efforts following the company’s acquisition of EZPrints.  He is respected for being an enthusiastic professional with a solid understanding of a diverse range of business management applications.

4over has a reputation of deploying technologies that simplify the complex print supply chain.  It’s one of the company’s most unique attributes and I am confident that while working alongside this first-rate team, we can create a company that is unstoppable,” says Herrin.  We’re proud to be collaborating with him and are looking forward to a bright future for 4over.

4over Hosts Open House at Moonachie, NJ, Plant Devasted by Hurricane Sandy

4over Inc. held an open house event at their Moonachie, NJ, plant following a major overhaul after having been devastated by Hurricane Sandy last year. The event was a huge success, boasting an attendance of over 500 existing customers from New Jersey and New York. Guests enjoyed lunch, courtesy of 4over, while watching a slide show displaying the before and after photos of the plant. CEO Zarik Megerdichian was in attendance, along with 4over’s top managers, all of whom encouraged customers to ask questions and express their concerns. “The response to our open house has been great thus far. We’re so thrilled to have had the support of our loyal customers throughout this recovery period and we’d like to thank them for keeping us in business,” says Megerdichian.

Considering that it was under nearly four feet of water not long ago, the Moonachie plant bounced back remarkably quickly and is now operating at 100 percent production. 4over Moonachie’s employees and managers worked diligently to clean up and get production back up and running at full speed. New technicians were employed to fix what they could, and equipment that had been damaged beyond repair was replaced. They also added a brand new Komori GL40 Press.

Meanwhile, production for New Jersey jobs showed little signs of slowing, as 4over utilized several of their other facilities (Miami, Dayton and Phoenix) to pick up the slack and get all jobs done in a timely fashion. “We understand the urgency of the orders for our customers. We’re committed to fulfilling our customer’s orders on time and with exceptional quality. We’ve improved the product flow for faster and more efficient production,” commented Yiannis Lykogiannis, vice president of operations. Customer loyalty to 4over, coupled with the company’s proactive mindset and ability to adapt in a time that many would consider a crisis, has enabled the business to continue to grow and thrive.

4over Inc. Purchases Two New Komori GL40 Presses

One of North America’s largest trade printers, 4over Inc., has purchased two Lithrone GL40 presses, Komori America announced today. 4over Inc. is a print provider with locations in California, Ohio, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Illinois, Arizona and Mississauga, Canada. The first GL40 press was recently delivered and installed at 4over Inc.’s Moonachie, NJ location—a location that is rebounding from the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. The second press is scheduled for delivery later this year and is expected to be operational in the fall.

The company chose the Komori GL40 presses for the ability to enable fast delivery on a variety of print substrates from business cards to posters, linen stock to magnets and much more. Southern California Firefighters Team up with 4over for the Spark of Love Toy Drive

Glendale, Ca. — the Glendale Fire Department returned to 4over’s headquarters once again on December 14, 2012 for their annual Spark of Love Toy Drive. The drive began 19 years ago as a way to give toys and gifts to poverty-stricken children and families within the local community. The poverty rate in Glendale hovers at around 20% — this includes families and individuals of all sizes and age ranges, but a staggering number of individuals from this statistic happen to be age five and under.

4over has proudly been involved in the Spark of Love Toy Drive since the company’s inception back in 2001. This year they raised enough money to buy toys to fill an entire fire truck. 4over team members had fun loading the truck with the Glendale Fire Department. The holiday spirit was alive, and so many local children and their families had a brighter holiday because of it.

It’s an annual tradition for 4over, and team members are always enthusiastic about the opportunity to give back to the community. Not only is it gratifying for the donors, but it truly can and does save lives. In fact, one healthy person can give enough blood to benefit numerous individuals in need of transfusions which is pretty remarkable.  “We love being involved in Providence’s annual blood drive. It feels so good to know that in just a few minutes of our time, we can literally save multiple lives. Spark of Love Toy Drive brings lots of Smiles

Glendale, Ca. — For the 17th straight year, the Los Angeles Fire Department held their annual Spark of Love Toy Drive and the 4over team pitched in big time, once again. 4over has been actively involved in Spark of Love since the company’s inception and they always manage to fill at least an entire fire truck with toys. This year was no exception. 4over raised thousands of dollars toward the toy drive and used the money to purchase enough toys to fill a fire truck, once again. The fire department even had to bring in one additional pickup truck to collect the remaining toys and reported back to our team that there were hundreds of happy children on the receiving end.
