Catalogs vs. Booklets in a Nutshell

A lot of folks ask what the difference is between Booklets and Catalogs. We have a simple answer. Catalogs have thicker cover stocks than their inside pages and are what the industry refers to as Booklets PLUS cover.

You’ll also notice you have perfect bound and saddle stitch options on Catalog orders.

Booklets are just as awesome — just a little different. They’re referred to by the industry as having SELF-covers, meaning there’s no variation between the thickness of the cover stock and the inside pages.

These two categories exist as a way of classifying the two products to make navigation easier for y’all.

So there you have it — Catalogs versus Booklets, in a nutshell. But don’t hesitate to reach out to our Customer Experience representatives if you have more questions.
