4over Inc. held an open house event at their Moonachie, NJ, plant following a major overhaul after having been devastated by Hurricane Sandy last year. The event was a huge success, boasting an attendance of over 500 existing customers from New Jersey and New York. Guests enjoyed lunch, courtesy of 4over, while watching a slide show displaying the before and after photos of the plant. CEO Zarik Megerdichian was in attendance, along with 4over’s top managers, all of whom encouraged customers to ask questions and express their concerns. “The response to our open house has been great thus far. We’re so thrilled to have had the support of our loyal customers throughout this recovery period and we’d like to thank them for keeping us in business,” says Megerdichian.
Considering that it was under nearly four feet of water not long ago, the Moonachie plant bounced back remarkably quickly and is now operating at 100 percent production. 4over Moonachie’s employees and managers worked diligently to clean up and get production back up and running at full speed. New technicians were employed to fix what they could, and equipment that had been damaged beyond repair was replaced. They also added a brand new Komori GL40 Press.
Meanwhile, production for New Jersey jobs showed little signs of slowing, as 4over utilized several of their other facilities (Miami, Dayton and Phoenix) to pick up the slack and get all jobs done in a timely fashion. “We understand the urgency of the orders for our customers. We’re committed to fulfilling our customer’s orders on time and with exceptional quality. We’ve improved the product flow for faster and more efficient production,” commented Yiannis Lykogiannis, vice president of operations. Customer loyalty to 4over, coupled with the company’s proactive mindset and ability to adapt in a time that many would consider a crisis, has enabled the business to continue to grow and thrive.
